Rajit's first entrepreneurial foray was at the age of 7 helping his mother with her poultry business. Since then he's been implicated in a series of startups, both his own, and those he helped found. He sold his first company, a building materials retail and distribution business, after running it for 5 years. He also founded the venture capital firm, August Holding, as a vehicle to assist Indian entrepreneurs establish their ventures. Rajit is currently at the management consulting firm, McKinsey & Company. He is a graduate of the Wharton School (1994), Kellogg School of Management (2002) and the Kennedy School at Harvard University (2002).
