What our Clients Think
Hey, don't take our word for it, check out what our clients think. Thousands of librarians can't be wrong...
We are proud to be a partner of Better World Books. You not only provide an invaluable service for libraries, like the Brooklyn Public Library, but also give the gift of literacy. We are impressed by your understanding of the logistical challenges libraries face when we need to find new homes for a large number of books. Better World Books provides a win-win solution for libraries, for their users, for literacy organizations and for children all over the world.
Christine Stenstrom, Brooklyn Public Library
There is a Hebrew/Yiddish word, "mitzvah," which means a really good deed. You guys really do a lot of "mitzvot" -- plural of mitzvah. There is no good English word that comes close to mitzvah. Keep up the mitzvoth.
Susie Rohrbough, Ohio University Library
We’re pleased with the service and that BWB was most accommodating and responsive. One of the parts of the service we really appreciated was the website (account) where we could check to see what and how much was selling.
Joyce Pernicone, North Miami Public Library
BWB was wonderful and accommodating to work with and we are very pleased with the service.
Leslie Jones, Pasco Public Library
You have made a LOT of people happy here at UCLA. Additionally, donors whose materials we cannot use are delighted to know that their books become, through Better World Books, the ‘gift that keeps on giving'.
Carol Nishijima, University of California Los Angeles: Charles E. Young Research Library
Very impressive! This is a great deal. By the way, I've referred several librarians to your company. Hope they are contacting you.
Martha Rinn, Texas Lutheran University: Blumberg Memorial Library
I am so grateful for Better World Books! They have made the distribution of unwanted gift books convenient. Our library does not have a book sale so it was a real pain hauling tons of books around to area libraries. Not only do we get boxes and tape from Better World Books, they also pay for shipping. It is so simple. One phone call and within a few days boxes and tape are delivered. A few clicks on the computer and your mailing labels are printing out. It couldn't be more hassle free.
Mary Walker, MLS, Wichita State University Libraries
Your service has taken care of a great need here; we are in the midst of a heavy weed of our collection, and it’s a great relief not to have to cart boxes of books down the steep basement stairs for storage – and then back up again for sale!
Nancy Ashmore, Prairie du Chien Memorial Library
