Sara Grant was born in Washington, Indiana. She received degrees in journalism and psychology from Indiana University and a master's degree in creative and life writing from Goldsmiths College, University of London. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked as a senior commissioning editor for Working Partners. Her books include Dark Parties, Half Lives, and the Magic Trix series.
