Johanna Basford was born in Scotland. She is a illustrator and ink evangelist. She graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee with a degree in Textile Design in 2005. Basford's works of illustrations is widely recognized and can be found diversely in products such as wallpapers, beer bottles, and even tattoos. Basford owns her own little studio in a converted farm in the country. She works for Sony, Starbucks, Chipotle, Absolut Vodka, and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Her book titles include Secret Garden and Secret Garden: An Inky Treasure Hunt and Colouring Book. In 2015 her title Enchanted Forest: An Inky Quest and Coloring Book, made The New York Times Best Seller List.
