How It Works

Better World Books partners with major retailers and commercial property owners who host book drop boxes on their property. Books collected in these community drop boxes are sold online with a percentage of every sale supporting local libraries who participate in the drop box beneficiary program. All you need to do is to fill out the form to receive ongoing funds from our drop boxes.

Libraries receive money and community awareness that continues to grow over time without lifting a finger. Each drop box we place at businesses near your library could bear your name. It’s like placing billboards all around your community without the cost. Books able to be sold from those drop boxes will return 5% to 15% of sales over to you. Your only responsibility will be depositing the monthly checks you’ll be receiving.
