Excellent book about how to REALLY find a REAL job in the REAL world. Especially helpful in this economy. Even though it's geared toward college grads, it's extremely helpful advice for everyone of all ages. I have my own copy and now am ordering as gifts for lots of other people I know.
This is THE book to get you the job you want and need. Molly gives great real life examples and uses a five tool system that are engaging and easy to follow. The book stresses how to stand out from the thousands of other applicants and the best way to network. After reading, you are inspired to find that job!
Having certified with The Protocol School of Washington to teach business etiquette and international protocol, I take great interest in the methods other professionals use to teach and inspire their clients. I will highly recommend Molly Fletcher's book to my younger Business Etiquette Institute students because they will appreciate her "Combine respect with guts" approach. The five tools made perfect sense for those interested in landing a job, keeping a job and/or advancing in a job. Would Ms. Fletcher consider selling some of her indefatigable energy to this more senior entrepreneur? Margie Kelly, Business Etiquette Institute Athens Georgia - Cape Elizabeth Maine
I recently completed my MBA and the career counselor recommended that I read Your Dream Job Game Plan. This book gave me the added insight and guidance that I needed to find a rewarding job in a profession that I had always dreamed! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is in a job search and wants to do the same.
I met Molly Fletcher at a book signing earlier this year and she gave a fun, exciting overview of her book and her own "Dream Job". Right off the bat I was very interested since Molly represents some of my all-time favorite sports celebrities (Tom Izzo, John Smoltz, etc). The book is a great read and full of outstanding advice. I personally have already found my own "Dream Job" as president of a hotel company, but I regularly speak with and coach students and others about the importance of finding a job that you are really passionate about and then working hard to create your own opportunities and to accomplish all of your goals. Molly's book says it better than I ever could, so I recommend it often! Great Job, Molly!
