Product Description

Those TV witches have got it made . . . Wiggle a nose. Dinner's on the table! Hop on a broom. Next stop, Tahiti!

Unfortunately, nose-wiggling doesn’t cut it in real life. So witch or not, Jane Madison must deal with her insane work schedule, best-friend drama and romantic dry spell like everyone else.

But now the exclusive Washington Coven wants Jane to join. This could be a dream come true for the magical misfit, or it could be the most humiliating experience of her life. Either way, the crap's gonna hit the cauldron because Jane is about to be tested in ways she's never imagined -- and, pass or fail, nothing will ever be the same.

  • Rating Even better than the first book!  Sep 23, 2007 (6 of 7 found this helpful)

This author keeps getting better. Well-written and paced, funny and fabulous. I was so sad to see this book end that I started over and read again. One caveat, you should read the first book before this one or your enjoyment will be curtailed. I can't wait for book 3 in 2008. I'm not going to summarize the plot because the Amazon summary is adequate and I don't want to give anything away. Please check this series out. You will not be sorry!

  • Rating Pretty Good  Jan 2, 2008 (2 of 2 found this helpful)

I liked this book...pretty much. I was somewhat disappointed that I felt the story with the David just dropped. I also was annoyed with the references to the other book...making this tale somewhat redundant (we know she loves mojitos already!). There was a lot going on in this book and I enjoyed the magic and the writing, as usual. I read this book fairly quickly, and will probably purchase a future book in this series. I cannot put my finger on it, but I'd say something is missing.

  • Rating It was hard to put down!  Sep 29, 2007 (4 of 5 found this helpful)

Oh how the time flew by since book #1! I was eagerly anticipating this book and it didn't disappoint! Jane continues her journey to become a stronger person as well as a stronger witch. Readers get a taste of bigger magic spells than book one had. Reading the first book over again before starting #2 would be helpful as a refresher (I wish I had done that.). I can't wait for #3!

  • Rating Great Series  Nov 19, 2008 (1 of 1 found this helpful)

I've read the first 3 in this series - is there going to be more? I loved all of them!!!

  • Rating Loved This book  Nov 5, 2008 (1 of 1 found this helpful)

I Loved this Book, I picked it up because I liked the cover... that is right I judge books by the cover, I started reading it and was really confused since I didn't realise this was the second in the series until I was almost half way through it. After I picked up on the lingo which I am sure it was explained in the first book I couldn't put it down. I Loved this book I am starting the first in the series just to catch up on what I missed but I will forsurely be getting the third in the series!!!
I would recommed this book.... but I would read the first one first! lol
