  By far the most comprehensive book on pickup and seduction techniques I've found. Originally thought this book had something to do with The Game by Neil Strauss, but its not affiliated. But after reading both it's clear the The A Game's model and techniques are the same as in The Game. The Game was Neil's story about living in the pickup community, but it didn't include much instruction on the pickup skills he used in Project Hollywood. This book breaks down a lot of the nuts and bolts of approaching, hooking sets, building rapport and attraction, and closing the deal.
  
  Book is split somewhat in half with the first half being foundation material for inner game, style and grooming and basic rules that apply throughout. The second half was much more interesting to me because it took all of that foundation info and used it as the basis for techniques to use in-field. Some of seemed very familiar to what Neil used in the Game including 3 second rule, negging, IOIs and number closing. Probably 200 pages devoted to inner game and another 200 pages devoted to technique. It kinda seemed like two books in one because it's so huge.
  
  My pickup skills definitely saw a bump after I put the techniques in this book to use in the field.

  Very large book with a lot of information on PUA. It looks like a blend of a lot of other successful guides and programs with some extra insight. The first half of the book wasn't as useful for me since I've been in the game for a few years, but if you're just starting out or you're shy and have social anxiety, the first have has a lot of valuable info on things like inner game, style, grooming, basic rules.
  
  The second part seems more of a program or process that was very easy to read and comprehend. A few things I hadn't read before, but it was useful just to get everything down in one spot and read the progression from meeting and attracting down to sealing the deal.
  
  I do wish this author had wrote less about the fundamentals and spent more time on approaching women. There was plenty devoted to opening women, but I want more. More openers, more tactics... I'm still looking for a great book dedicated to Openers.
  
  Large book, easy read, a wealth of info. Recommended for shy guys or PUAs who want a refresher on what to do and not to do.

  I never heard of this book until I saw it on Amazon, but I read a few pages in the Search Inside and took the plunge. I'm glad I did because this book was surprising in how much PUA/seduction ground it covers. I've never found one book that captured all the essentials of the leading pickup gurus, but this book seemed very close.
  
  If you know anything about David DeAngelo, than you'll have a basic understanding of what this book is about. It's like a condensed version of all of that material without all the DVDs and CDs. I'm getting more about of this book than the videos because its so easy to refer back to and re-read important sections.
  
  The first half focuses on getting your look and your attitude where it needs to be before you hit the field. The Myths that hold guys back, the Rules that guys should follow at all times, and adjusting your attitude so you don't get discouraged no matter how good or bad things are going.
  
  The second half of the book is all technique. It's a five part progression that can happen in one night or spread out over a few days. It's Open > Hook > Attract > Connect > Close. None of it is mind blowing, which I think is the point. It's all relevant, detailed, informative advice that you probably know, but forgot or assume it doesn't work. I've applied the tactics in the first two steps, some I have already been using and a few that I added in and it all works beautifully.
  
  It's a big book - 400 or so pages and way too much to read over a week, there's just too much in-depth information to take in a short amount of time. Maybe a chapter a week so it sinks in and you can use little bits of it every day until you're ready for the next chapter... at least that's what worked for me.

  Many promise, few deliver. Logan Edwards' "Secrets of The A Game" is an exception to that rule. Don't let the "Lava-Life" poster-style cover keep you away from the wisdom this book contains. I'd been dating a very good looking woman before I read "A Game". Couldn't get her into the sack though, until I read this book and realized I was being "predictable". When I stopped trying to be nice all the time and became a bit more demanding, a bit more dominant, she asked me to come in and didn't ask me to leave.
  
  I like Edwards' down-to-earth, man-to-man style. He has a good sense of humor too. Made me laugh out loud a few times. He has a good way of getting his points across. When I read "Your job is to create a little sexual tension and minimize all other forms of stress in your interaction," I realized I was arguing about things with this girl instead of focusing on the main objective, getting her into bed. I stopped being so serious about conversation and remembered I was looking for a better kind of interaction.
  
  This guy has a lot of common-sense pointers for shy guys like me who have trouble picking up women in bars or at parties. He explains how to enter a room where you don't know anyone and give the appearance of being right at home. Once I read it, it seemed so obvious. He talks about figuring out a good opening line and following through if there's any interest. Those are the things that I have always had difficulty with.
  
  Oh yes, unless you feel that you need to do some self-analysis, go to the "Meeting and Attracting Women" section on page 164. That's where the "Attraction" technique is really outlined in detail. I've found it very helpful in keeping my love life lively. If there is one negative about this book, it is the length. But no problem, the book has good tips. Just cut to the chase.

  Sometimes the best advice is the simplest advice in the world. Following your own instincts and just jumping into a conversation without the usual safety net we tend to try to take with us in all aspects of life. This especially is true in the love department and for a shy guy who thinks material things are the way to a girl's heart, he'll soon learn they're expensive trinkets and bane to his existence. It's a simple formula which this book has somehow put into written form that boggles my mind that more people haven't written about it yet. Being comfortable in your own skin is the way to go to at least get that first reaction from a woman. A simple 'Hi!' being met with an equal exchange is something most guys aren't used to because they usually have their head down too long to even notice the girl's face, let alone attempt to have a conversation.
  
  I too know this too well, not knowing what to do with girls for a long time, a late bloomer if you will, and I wish I had this book in my teens to wake me up from my self delusion that I ddn't deserve the hottest girl in school and instead went for anybody who noticed me for a few seconds. It took me awhile to figure out that having self confidence, something so simple as that, was the first key to success and just meeting the goals he gave himself was something that made women yearn for him. It''s detailed in the book, showing how one day the author Logan Edwards woke up from his deep sleep of lack of romance and realized he needed to not always be the nice guy but instead showcase the qualities he had forgotten years ago that women found attractive.
  
  The book actually shows a lot of regard toward women too, not blaming the usual 'princess' mindset that most men can't stand and instead shows that he understands that it is ingrained in their minds from years of learning that is the way to be. The whole 'hard to get' game was something to be played and it was now in the guy's court to try it out and it was time to play ball. It also shows that no matter how hard you try, if a woman shows no interest in you whatsoever, you need to cut ties and realize a dead end crush is just that: a dead end. Why keep beating about the bush and being sad for yourself and just find another girl that might be more attractive and into you?
  
  It's a bit more difficult for guys because we don't have anybody to just go to and ask for advice. Most guy friends will just make fun of you for being a pansy, even if they're going through the same ordeal because it's the whole masculinity factor that comes into play. What's great about this book, a manual of sorts, is that it never showcases women as the enemy but as a different side of the coin and who are looking for the best they can find as well. What's so wrong with that? I think it's a positive book with great ideas and showing never to treat a woman poorly but to treat them the way you'd want to be treated.
  
  Being yourself, the age old suggestion, is thrown out the door and instead, learning some basic ways to treat yourself is instead ingrained throughout the book. Open, Hook, Attract, Connect and Close are the 5 steps in the Game portion, a simple guide to remembering what steps you need to know to get a woman. While I read it, I figured it was something so simple that probably the last time it was used was during caveman days, and that's not knocking it; it's embracing it. It shows that if it ain't broke, you shouldn't fix it and the problem is with men forgetting what it was to just meet and greet and getting a chance to be with women. It's become a bit stagnant in the last few hundred years and that's why it has to be changed back, tweaked if you will, to what was working fine before. But I'm not talking about bonking them on the head with a stick.
  
  The myths section is also a great wake up call to men everywhere. Stuff that's been bred into us is usually hogwash and in the examples he gi
