Comments about The Transgender Child: A Handbook for Families and Professionals:
I work with adults and children who identify as transgender, and this book is helpful for working with both. I would recommend it to friends and family of transfolk, as well as any professional (teacher, doctor, nurse, counselor, social worker, etc) who is working with someone who identifies as gender variant (and it's a matter of when, not if).
