This is the second book that I have read that Picoult that has written and I have to say how impressed I was! I had high hopes before reading it and although the book wasn't was what I expected, it met my expectations and more!There are so many layers to this book... There are many characters with complex relationships to one another, with troubled pasts' that still affect them, hidden feelings, misunderstood cultural boundaries, rituals, and faith... all this centred around a murder trial.I loved this book. Months later, I still can't stop thinking about it and can't wait to read it again soon!
