When literature student Anastasia Steele goes to interview young entrepreneur Christian Grey, she encounters a man who is beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating. The unworldly, innocent Ana is startled to realize she wants this man and, despite his enigmatic reserve, finds she is desperate to get close to him. Unable to resist Ana's quiet beauty, wit, and independent spirit, Grey admits he wants her, too--but on his own terms. Shocked yet thrilled by Grey's singular erotic tastes, Ana hesitates. For all the trappings of success--his multinational businesses, his vast wealth, his loving family--Grey is a man tormented by demons and consumed by the need to control. When the couple embarks on a daring, passionately physical affair, Ana discovers Christian Grey's secrets and explores her own dark desires. Erotic, amusing, and deeply moving, the Fifty Shades Trilogy is a tale that will obsess you, possess you, and stay with you forever.

Comments about Fifty Shades of Grey:
I would have NEVER bought this book had I known what it was about, not only were the characters all mixed up in their heads, but there wasn't any real story. I'm not a nit'wit, I realize stange things happen in this world, but this book was a total waste of my time. I didn't finish it and I usually pass my books on, this one went straight to the trash can where it belongs.

About Me Bookworm
Since "everyone" was reading this, I decided to give it a try. The sex scenes (the main attraction) become monotonous and one note - the writing is high school level. I have nil interest in the sequels.

Awful. Just awful.

This Twilight fanfiction is about the same quality of its originator, with all the poor literary technique, immature and narrow perspective, and romanticism of abusive relationships.Without even going into depth about the horrible misrepresentation of the BD*M (BWB won't let me say it) lifestyle or clearly r*pe (guess I can't say that either...) culture-influenced writing, let me just show you this excerpt:"His pointer finger circled my puckered love cave. 'Are you ready for this?' he mewled, smirking at me like a mother hamster about to eat her three-legged young."I'm not even going to talk about the puckered love cave. I want to talk about this:"Mewl" means to cry weakly or whimper, like a baby. That means he cried weakly like a baby, while smirking like a cannibalistic female hamster. That's not even bad erotica; that's like a sexual encounter with The Crypt Keeper.
